Industrial Networking & IIoT

Plant-floor networks that keep PLCs, robots, and HMIs talking — and get your production data where it needs to go.

Overview

The network is part of the machine

Every modern automation system depends on its network. When it is designed well, nobody notices it. When it is not, you get dropped connections, nuisance faults, and hours lost chasing problems that are not in the code.

We design, build, and troubleshoot industrial networks as part of the controls system, not as an afterthought. Protocol selection, segmentation, and addressing are decided up front, and remote access is secured from day one.

Once the network is solid, we put it to work: collecting OEE and downtime data from the equipment you already own and connecting it to the plant systems or cloud platforms your team actually uses.

Networking & IIoT services

Each item below is a service we deliver on its own or as part of a larger integration project.

Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/RTU

We configure and integrate devices on the industrial protocols your plant runs. Mixed-vendor equipment communicates on one coordinated network instead of a patchwork of workarounds.

Network Architecture & Troubleshooting

We lay out switches, segments, and addressing so machine networks are stable and easy to maintain. When an existing network misbehaves, we find the fault and fix it — not just the symptom.

Remote Access & Secure Connectivity

We set up controlled remote access to your PLCs, HMIs, and robots so support does not have to wait for a truck. Access is restricted, logged, and coordinated with your IT team.

Data Collection (OEE, Downtime Tracking)

We pull run states, counts, and fault codes straight from the controllers to report OEE and track downtime by cause. You get real numbers from the machine, not a clipboard estimate.

IIoT / Cloud Integration

We connect plant-floor data to the cloud or on-premise platforms your organization uses for dashboards, alerts, and analysis. Data leaves the controller in a format your systems can use.

How we work

From site survey to live data

Networking projects follow the same disciplined sequence as our controls work: understand the plant, design on paper, deploy with minimal disruption, and prove it before we leave.

We work alongside your IT group throughout, so plant-floor and office networks stay properly separated and nobody is surprised by a new device on the network.

  1. Assess

We walk the floor, inventory the devices and protocols in play, and document how the existing network is actually wired.

  2. Design

We produce a network architecture with segmentation, addressing, and hardware specified for the industrial environment.

  3. Deploy

We install and configure switches, gateways, and remote access hardware around your production schedule.

  4. Connect data

We map controller tags to OEE and downtime metrics and deliver them to your dashboards or cloud platform.

  5. Verify & hand off

We test every link under load, document the final architecture, and walk your team through it.
