Simulation & Commissioning

Prove the system in software before steel moves, then commission it on the floor with fewer surprises and less downtime.

Overview

Find the problems before they reach the floor

Startup is the most expensive place to discover a reach problem, a cycle-time miss, or a logic bug. Simulation moves that discovery earlier, when a fix costs hours of engineering time instead of days of lost production.

We build robot programs offline, run controls logic against a virtual model of the machine, and simulate the cell as a digital twin before the equipment is assembled. By the time hardware arrives, the program has already run.

During factory and site acceptance testing, we run the structured tests that prove the system meets its specification, and we document the results so sign-off is clear for everyone.

Simulation & commissioning services

Each item below is a service we deliver on its own or as part of a larger integration project.

Offline Robot Programming

We write and verify robot paths in a simulated cell while your production robot keeps running. Reach, collisions, and cycle time are checked before the program is ever loaded on the floor.

Virtual Commissioning

We run the real PLC and HMI code against a virtual model of the machine to debug sequences, interlocks, and fault handling early. On-site commissioning becomes verification instead of discovery.

Digital Twin Simulation

We model the full cell or line to test layout, throughput, and interactions between machines before anything is built. You see how the system behaves and can change the design while it is still cheap to do so.

FAT / SAT Support

We plan, run, and document Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests against your specification. Every requirement is tested, recorded, and signed off so there is no ambiguity at handover.

How we work

Model, test, then build

Simulation only pays off if it reflects the real machine. We start from your actual layout, parts, and controls design, so what we prove in software holds up on the floor.

The same models and test plans carry through to FAT and SAT, so acceptance testing checks against the behavior we already demonstrated.

  1. Define

We capture the cell layout, part data, cycle-time target, and the controls and robot architecture the simulation must represent.

  2. Model

We build the robot cell or digital twin from your CAD and equipment data and connect it to the real controls logic.

  3. Simulate & refine

We run paths, sequences, and fault scenarios, then correct the program and layout while changes are still inexpensive.

  4. Factory runoff

We load the proven programs on the real equipment and run the FAT against a written test plan.

  5. Site acceptance

We commission on your floor, complete the SAT, and hand over the documented results with the system.
